Driving:
Take Lake Shore Drive south to 57th St., the Museum of Science and Industry. Turn right at the light there. Follow 57th St. as it circles around the Museum and heads south. Turn right at the Midway Plaisance and head west under the train viaduct. Ellis Avenue is @ 3/4 of a mile west of the viaduct. Turn right on Ellis and head north to the Administration Building, 5801 Ellis, on the east side of the street.
Public Transportation:
Take the Metra Electric (formerly the Illinois Central) line from Randolph Street or Van Buren Street Stations to 57th street. Trains run at least once each hour during the day; call 1-312-836-7000 for a specific schedule. Exiting the station, turn right (west). Ellis is about 3/4 of a mile. Turn left on Ellis and head south one block. The Administration Building (5801 S. Ellis) will be on your left.
