Restrictions

Restrictions which deny future registration privileges and use of University services and facilities are placed on students' records by various offices. Students are notified by the University Registrar via email of the nature of the restrictions and their effect on grade inquiry, transcripts, and registration.

BURSAR: Restrictions due to failure to meet tuition/fee obligations are imposed by the Bursar in the sixth week of the quarter in which the obligation arises. Contact 773-702-7086 for information.

IMMUNIZATION: Restrictions due to failure to meet state immunization requirements are imposed in the the 3rd Friday of the first quarter of enrollment. Call 702-9975 for information.

When such Bursar, Immunization and other Category 2 restrictions are placed on a student's records during one quarter, the student is notified by the University Registrar that registration for the next quarter will be restricted. Such students may not register for a subsequent quarter's courses or have a registration status of enrolled for a subsequent quarter until these restrictions have been cleared.
