The Office of the University Registrar maintains all student records from the time of application until the degree is awarded.
All University students use the my.UChicago self-service portal to view and update their personal information including address, phone number, class schedule, student medical insurance, and other items kept on record by the office.
The portal also provides information concerning other official matters, such as administrative restrictions and a student’s right to withhold the release of directory information to third parties under the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Some information can also be found within the Student Manual.
