Applications to graduate must be submitted online by the Saturday at the end of the first week of the quarter in which the student intends to graduate. After the third week of the quarter in which the student plans to graduate, they must secure approval from their Dean of Students to change their registration in any quarter.
Changes to Graduation Status
Students may change or withdraw their graduation application without incurring a fee before the end of the fifth week of the quarter for which you applied to graduate. After the end of the first week of the quarter, College students should contact their College Academic Adviser, Graduate students should contact their area Dean of Students, and Law Students should contact the Law School Office of the Registrar to update information or cancel your application for a degree.
NOTE: You may change your anticipated graduation date in my.UChicago at any time before you apply to graduate, but such a change may affect your financial status.
